I was born in Slidell, Louisiana. I moved to Washington State at the age of 4. We lived in Anacortes before moving to Bellingham. I completed my undergrad in Bellingham at Western Washington University. I completed my student teaching in a 2nd grade classroom at Silverbeach Elementary.

I moved to Kirkland after landing a job in the Lake Washington School District. I spent the last two years teaching 1st grade at Horace Mann Elementary. This year I am teaching 2nd grade and am so happy I made the switch!

I am doing the Teacher Leadership program through SPU so that I can become an administrator.
